ACT oranssi 15 metriä U/UTP CAT6A patch-kaapeli, lukituskielen suojaus, RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Orange 15m U/UTP CAT6A patch cable is a 15 meter Ethernet lead designed for high-speed network connections. It conforms to the CAT6A standard and uses unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) construction to support reliable data transmission for wired LAN environments. The cable is fitted with snagless RJ45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and comes in a bright orange colour for easy identification within cabling runs.

Advantages

The cable’s CAT6A specification enables improved bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with earlier categories, supporting demanding network traffic. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and removal, reducing the risk of damage. Gold-plated contacts provide consistent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The 15 m length covers medium to large rack-to-desk or equipment-to-equipment distances while the orange jacket increases visibility in patch panels and cable trays.

Suitable for

• Wiring connections between switches, patch panels and routers in enterprise and home networks
• High-speed Ethernet links requiring CAT6A performance for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and compatible devices
• Temporary or permanent cabling where clear visual identification of runs is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Cabling type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Category: CAT6A
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45, snagless design
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Supported link technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other RJ45 plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to make a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius consistent with standard Ethernet cabling practices. For installations in dense patch panels, use the snagless feature to reduce the chance of breaking the latch during repeated moves and changes.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6A U/UTP cable for horizontal and patch cabling where CAT6A performance is required. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce electromagnetic interference. For environments with significant EMI or where grounding is required, consider a shielded cable alternative.
