ACT violetti 30,00 m SFTP CAT6A -verkkokaapeli, ilman salpaa, RJ45-liittimillä

The ACT Purple 30.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a 30 m network patch lead designed for high-speed Ethernet connections in structured cabling environments. It uses the Cat6a standard with S/FTP shielding to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper and to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends terminate in snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable mating and consistent signal transfer. The cable's purple jacket aids cable identification in racks and cabling runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP CAT6A construction provides enhanced protection against alien crosstalk and external noise, improving signal stability for high-bandwidth applications. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs increase corrosion resistance and maintain low contact resistance over repeated insertions. The snagless connector design helps prevent tab damage during installation and routing. A 30 m length reduces the need for intermediate patch panels in small-to-medium installations and the purple color simplifies visual cable management.

How to use

Route the ACT Purple SFTP CAT6A cable between networking devices ensuring minimum bend radius is respected to avoid degrading performance. Insert the RJ45 connectors into corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or network interface devices until the latch clicks. For optimal results, avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines; when crossing power cables, do so at right angles. Test link speed and signal quality with appropriate network testers after installation to verify 10 Gigabit operation and correct pair termination.

Recommendations

Use this SFTP CAT6A cable in shielded or mixed environments where reduced interference is required, and pair it with compatible shielded connectors and properly grounded patch panels to maintain shielding effectiveness. Replace damaged connectors or jackets to preserve performance.
