AJA BRIDGE LIVE 3G-8 - silta

Where most video bridges force a choice between SDI and IP workflows, the AJA BRIDGE LIVE 3G-8 unifies them in a single 1RU frame. Eight 3G-SDI inputs and outputs pair with dual 10 GigE SFP+ cages, enabling simultaneous conversion to and from SRT, NDI, RTMP, MPEG-TS, HLS, and RTP/UDP. This is a broadcast-grade bridge built for live production, remote contribution, and streaming — not a repurposed IT switch.

Highlights

• 8x 3G-SDI inputs and 8x 3G-SDI outputs on BNC, supporting SD, HD, and 3G up to 1080p60.
• Dual 10 GigE SFP+ ports for flexible fiber or copper connectivity.
• Multi-protocol IP streaming: SRT (with AES-128/256 encryption), NDI, RTMP/RTMPS, MPEG-TS, HLS, and RTP/UDP.
• H.264 and H.265 encoding/decoding with AAC-LC, MPEG-2, and G.711 audio.
• Up to 16 channels of embedded audio per SDI stream.
• Integrated up/down/cross conversion, frame rate conversion, de-interlacing, and color correction.
• Redundant hot-swappable power supplies for 24/7 operation.
• Web UI, REST API, and SNMP for control and monitoring.

In daily use

Operators can configure low-latency SRT links for remote cameras, convert SDI feeds to NDI for production, or push H.264/H.265 streams to CDNs via RTMP. The dual 10GbE ports allow separate networks for control and media, or link aggregation for higher throughput. Built-in video and audio monitoring tools simplify troubleshooting, while the REST API enables automation in larger systems. The 1RU chassis fits standard racks and operates from 0 to 40°C, with dual PSUs ensuring uptime.
