Alphacool Quick Disconnect -sarja BLH1A IG-IG Schott-liittimellä – pikaliitinpari G½/G1/4-liittimille

The Alphacool Quick Disconnect Set BLH1A IG-IG with Schott fitting is a pair of quick‑release couplers designed for liquid cooling loop maintenance and modular plumbing. The IG‑IG configuration enables connection between two internal‑thread fittings without the need for tools, while the Schott style sealing interface provides a compact, leak‑resistant separation point. This quick disconnect set is intended for integration into water‑cooling loops to simplify component swaps, radiator or pump removal, and flexible reconfiguration of cooling circuits.

Advantages

The coupler pair offers tool‑free disconnection and reconnection, reducing downtime during maintenance. The Schott sealing interface is engineered to create a secure seal when disconnected, minimising fluid loss and the risk of leakage. Constructed to be compatible with common G½ and G1/4 plumbing sizes, the set supports modular builds and straightforward routing changes while maintaining a compact footprint in the loop layout.

Suitable for

• PC liquid cooling loops requiring rapid component exchange
• Radiator, reservoir or pump removal without draining the entire system
• Modular water‑cooling builds and test benches
• Temporary or permanent disconnect points for system upgrades and maintenance

Key specifications

• Coupler type: quick‑release pair with Schott (glass) style sealing interface
• Connection configuration: internal thread to internal thread (IG‑IG)
• Compatible thread standards: G½ and G1/4 plumbing sizes
• Material characteristics: corrosion‑resistant metallic construction with sealing elements (O‑rings)
• Designed use: liquid cooling loop maintenance and modular plumbing

How to use

Install each coupler into the respective G½ or G1/4 internal‑thread port by screwing until hand‑tight and ensuring the sealing O‑rings are seated. When the two halves are brought together, the Schott style interface aligns and compresses the seal to prevent fluid escape. For disconnection, depress the release mechanism according to the component design and separate the halves; perform disconnection over an absorbent surface or with minimal residual fluid handling to avoid spills. Reconnect by aligning the coupler halves and pressing until the release mechanism engages and the seal is confirmed.

Recommendations

Verify thread compatibility and check O‑ring condition before installation. Use with compatible coolant fluids and follow standard precautions for working on pressurised or filled liquid‑cooling systems. Periodically inspect seals and connections for wear and replace sealing elements if leakage or damage is detected.
