Extend the lifespan

How to use

Install the UPS on a stable surface or mount it on the wall using suitable fittings. Connect critical devices (PC, NAS, router, modem) to the battery-backed outlets and non-critical surge-only devices to the surge outlets. Connect the UPS to a PC or NAS using the USB data port and install the free PowerChute Personal Edition software if you want automatic shutdown configuration. Replace the internal RBC17 battery cartridge when the UPS indicates end-of-life, following the user manual instructions.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the UPS in a ventilated area, avoid exposing it to excessive heat or moisture, and test the battery periodically. If you need a USB Type A to B cable to connect to a PC or NAS, you can obtain one from the manufacturer’s website.
