Asennuskaapeli Victron Energy SCA000500000, 4 mm² poikkipinta, 5 m pituus

Installation cable Victron Energy SCA000500000, 4 mm² cross-section, 5 m length is a flexible electrical cable intended for low-voltage DC power and battery system connections. With a conductor cross-section of 4 mm² and a length of 5 m, the cable is suitable for fixed wiring in systems such as inverters, battery banks, chargers and other DC installations where a moderate current-carrying capacity and short run length are required. The cable construction offers reliable conductivity and mechanical durability for indoor and protected outdoor installations.

Advantages

The cable provides a balance of cross-section and length that fits many common power and battery wiring tasks, offering straightforward installation and predictable voltage drop characteristics over short runs. Its 4 mm² conductor ensures adequate current capacity for moderate loads while remaining flexible enough for routing in confined spaces. The 5 m length reduces the need for splices in typical set-ups between batteries, inverters and chargers.

How to use

Measure the required routing distance and ensure the 5 m length and 4 mm² cross-section meet current and voltage-drop requirements for your installation. Strip the insulation to expose the stranded copper conductor and make secure terminations using appropriate crimp lugs, busbars or screw terminals rated for the conductor size. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and heat sources, fastening at regular intervals to prevent strain. For outdoor or exposed locations, protect the cable with conduit or additional sleeving suitable for the environment.

Recommendations

Confirm system current and permissible voltage drop before installation; for higher currents or longer runs choose a larger cross-section. Use proper crimping tools and connectors rated for 4 mm² conductors, and observe polarity and safety procedures when working on batteries and live DC circuits. If in doubt about installation requirements, consult a qualified technician or the system manufacturer.
