Asiakassolmu Cambium Networks cnWave V2000 60GHz Wi-Fi 5

The Cambium Networks cnWave V2000 60GHz Wi-Fi 5 Client Node is a fixed wireless client device operating in the 60 GHz band and designed to provide high-capacity, low-latency connectivity. The unit implements Wi-Fi 5 technology together with focused beamforming to deliver stable throughput in dense urban deployments and point-to-point or point-to-multipoint topologies. The compact outdoor form factor supports straightforward mounting and alignment for last-mile access or backhaul linking where fiber is not available or practical.

Advantages

The client node delivers multi-gigabit potential over the 60 GHz spectrum with minimized interference due to narrow-beam transmissions, enabling high data rates and consistent performance. Its beamforming improves link reliability and spectral efficiency in crowded RF scenarios. The device is engineered for easy installation and alignment, providing a practical wireless alternative for rapid service rollouts. Designed for outdoor use, it offers resilience to common deployment conditions while simplifying network design by reducing cable runs.

Suitable for

• Last-mile wireless access in urban and suburban environments
• High-capacity links for enterprise or service provider networks
• Point-to-multipoint deployments requiring focused directional connectivity
• Temporary or rapid-deployment sites where fiber installation is impractical

Key specifications

• Operational frequency band: 60 GHz
• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ac (Wi‑Fi 5) compatibility for client connectivity
• Beamforming: advanced directional beamforming for improved signal strength and range
• Throughput: designed for multi-gigabit-capable links depending on link conditions and network configuration
• Form factor: compact outdoor client node optimized for pole or wall mounting
• Latency: low-latency link characteristics suitable for real-time applications
• Environmental suitability: outdoor-rated hardware for typical urban deployment conditions

How to use

Mount the client node on a stable pole or bracket with a clear line of sight to the corresponding access or hub node to achieve the best 60 GHz link performance. Power the unit according to the vendor's power-over-Ethernet guidance and connect its Ethernet interface to the local network or subscriber equipment. Use the device's alignment indicators and management interface to fine-tune pointing and confirm link quality, then configure networking parameters such as VLANs, QoS and IP settings through the network management platform. Regularly check firmware updates and follow vendor instructions for secure configuration.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure unobstructed line of sight and minimize reflective surfaces between the client node and the corresponding hub. Plan deployments with attention to allowable link distance at 60 GHz and local environmental factors such as rain fade or blockages. Use proper grounding and surge protection during installation and integrate monitoring to verify link stability and throughput over time.
