ASRock TPM-moduuli TPM-SPI/9672

For ASRock motherboard owners seeking hardware-grade security without replacing their entire platform, the TPM-SPI/9672 module delivers the missing trust anchor. Unlike software-based security solutions that remain vulnerable to OS-level attacks, this plug-in module stores cryptographic keys in dedicated silicon, making credential theft and firmware tampering dramatically harder. It upgrades compatible ASRock boards to full TPM 2.0 compliance, enabling Windows 11 installation, BitLocker drive encryption, and secure boot enforcement with minimal effort.

Highlights

• Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) compliant, meeting the latest TCG security standards.
• SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) connection via a 17-pin header for direct motherboard communication.
• Infineon SLB9672 TPM controller, a proven industrial-grade security chip.
• Hardware-based key storage isolates encryption keys from the operating system.
• Supports RSA, SHA-1, and SHA-256 cryptographic algorithms for versatile security operations.
• Enables Windows 11 system requirements, BitLocker drive encryption, and credential protection.
• Plug-in module form factor for tool-free installation on compatible ASRock motherboards.
• RoHS compliant and designed for long-term reliability in desktop and workstation environments.

In daily use

Installing the TPM-SPI/9672 takes only minutes: power down the system, insert the module into the motherboard's SPI TPM header, and secure it with the included screw (if applicable). Once detected in the BIOS, you can enable TPM support and immediately benefit from stronger platform integrity. Windows 11 will recognize the module automatically, allowing you to activate BitLocker for full-disk encryption without performance penalties. For IT administrators, the module simplifies compliance with data protection regulations and remote attestation scenarios, while home users gain peace of mind knowing their credentials and sensitive files are shielded from tampering.
