ASUS RT-BE55 WiFi 7 -reititin BE3600 dualband, 1x 2.5G WAN, 4x 1G LAN

The ASUS RT-BE55 steps beyond conventional routers by bringing Wi-Fi 7 to a compact, dual-band platform that still respects wired legacy devices. With a 2.5G WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports, it fits neatly into homes where a high-speed internet plan meets a mix of older and newer clients. Unlike many entry-level Wi-Fi 7 routers that sacrifice LAN flexibility, the RT-BE55 keeps four standard Ethernet ports while adding a multi-gig uplink for future-proof broadband.

Highlights

• Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with BE3600 total speed: 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz
• 1x 2.5 Gigabit WAN port for multi-gig internet connections
• 4x Gigabit LAN ports for wired devices like PCs, consoles, and smart TVs
• ASUS AiMesh support for seamless whole-home mesh expansion
• Commercial-grade AiProtection Pro with lifetime security updates
• Quad-core processor with 512 MB RAM for smooth multitasking

In daily use

Set up takes minutes via the ASUS Router app or web GUI. The internal antennas keep the design clean, while beamforming and MU-MIMO focus signals toward active devices. Adaptive QoS lets you prioritize video calls or gaming traffic, and the guest network stays isolated from your main LAN. WPA3 encryption protects every connection, and VPN client/server options add flexibility for remote work or privacy.
