Audiokaapeli PROCAB CLS215-CCA/1 100m musta kupari AWG 16

The PROCAB CLS215-CCA/1 100m Black Copper AWG 16 is a 2-core installation loudspeaker cable designed for reliable audio transmission in fixed installations. Constructed with individually polyolefin-insulated stranded copper conductors (16 AWG / 1.5 mm² equivalent) and a smooth, durable outer jacket, this cable provides low signal loss and flexible handling for both indoor and outdoor or humid environments. The CLS215-Cca series meets Cca classification under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), offering improved fire performance with reduced flame spread and minimized toxic smoke emissions.

Advantages

The cable combines stranded bare copper conductors for consistent conductivity and flexibility with a robust outer jacket that eases installation and pulling through conduits or cable trays. Compliance with Cca fire classification enhances safety in fixed installations by restricting fire propagation and limiting harmful smoke. The black outer jacket ensures a professional appearance suitable for visible installations while the cable construction supports use in humid or outdoor conditions.

Suitable for

• Fixed loudspeaker installations in commercial or public buildings
• Audio system cabling in venues where fire classification Cca is required
• Indoor and outdoor routed speaker lines, including humid environments
• Installation projects requiring long continuous cable runs (100 m reels)

Key specifications

• Cable type: 2-core loudspeaker installation cable
• Conductor material: stranded bare copper
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm² (AWG 16)
• Length: 100 m
• Outer jacket: smooth, durable black sheath for easy installation
• Fire performance: Cca classification (improved resistance to flame spread and reduced toxic smoke)
• Suitable environments: indoor, outdoor and humid conditions

How to use

Plan cable routes according to audio system layout and local electrical and fire safety regulations. Measure and cut the required length from the 100 m reel, strip the polyolefin insulation from each conductor carefully to avoid nicking the stranded copper, and terminate with appropriate speaker connectors or direct screw terminals as required by the equipment. Route the cable through conduits, trays, or surface runs, taking care to avoid sharp bends and mechanical damage. For outdoor or exposed installations, ensure additional protection where mechanical wear or UV exposure may occur.

Recommendations

Use the PROCAB CLS215-CCA/1 for permanent loudspeaker installations where Cca fire performance is specified. Maintain gentle bend radii consistent with the cable’s flexibility, avoid excessive tension when pulling from the reel, and protect exposed runs to prolong service life. For long runs, verify impedance and speaker load to ensure optimal audio performance.
