Beal Rando 8 mm 30 m köysi - oranssi

The Beal Rando 8 mm 30 m rope in orange is a versatile multi-purpose rope designed for glacier travel, ski touring, light mountaineering, and as an emergency rope. With a diameter of 8 mm, it offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for alpine adventures where every gram counts. The rope features Beal's Unicore Technology, which bonds the core and sheath to prevent excessive slippage and enhance safety. The Dry Cover treatment provides water repellency, ensuring the rope remains lightweight and durable even in wet conditions. Certified as a half rope (UIAA 1/2) and twin rope (UIAA 2), it meets EN 892 standards and delivers reliable performance.

Advantages

Lightweight at only 39 g/m, the Beal Rando reduces pack weight without compromising safety. The Unicore Technology minimizes sheath slippage (0 mm) and increases durability. The Dry Cover treatment protects against moisture and abrasion, extending the rope's lifespan. With a high number of UIAA falls (6 as half rope) and low impact force (5.5 kN), it provides a good balance of energy absorption and safety.
