Black Diamond Stepup 6 tikapuut - musta kiipeilyapuväline

For aid climbers pushing into big wall territory, the Black Diamond Stepup 6 Ladder stands apart with its six stiffened steps and single-strand webbing design. Unlike bulkier aiders that flop and tangle, this ladder keeps its shape for fast, fumble-free foot placements while weighing just 120 grams. The high-strength nylon webbing is built to take abrasion from rock and repeated loading, and the reinforced carabiner loop attaches cleanly to your harness or daisy chain. Whether you're jugging a fixed line or stepping up through a tricky aid sequence, the Stepup 6 delivers the reach and reliability you need without adding unnecessary weight to your rack.

Highlights

• Six stiffened steps for easy foot entry and stable support
• Single-strand webbing construction reduces bulk and tangling
• High-strength nylon webbing with bar-tacked stitching at stress points
• Reinforced carabiner loop for secure attachment
• Extended length of approximately 180 cm (71 inches)
• Ultra-lightweight at only 120 g (0.26 lbs)
• Packs down compactly for big wall efficiency

In daily use

On a multi-day wall, every gram counts, and the Stepup 6 earns its place on your harness. The stiffened steps stay open, so you can slide your foot in without looking down—critical when you're hanging from jugs and managing a tangle of ropes. The webbing is abrasion-resistant, holding up to gritty granite and sandstone chimneys. Clip it to a carabiner on your belay loop or daisy chain, and the ladder hangs naturally, ready for the next move.
