Bosch 2 608 901 174 hiomakivi

The Bosch 2 608 901 174 sanding block is designed for hand sanding of wood and painted surfaces. Its compact rectangular shape and foam construction help maintain contact with flat surfaces and 90° edges while reducing clogging and premature wear compared with conventional sanding sheets. Each pack contains three sanding blocks in a multicolour design with dimensions 69 mm × 98 mm × 26 mm, suitable for a variety of small sanding tasks.

Advantages

The Bosch EXPERT Standard Block uses a foam body with Bosch Surface Structure technology to improve durability and reduce clogging when sanding wood and paint. Its square shape provides stable contact on flat areas and tight corners, and the foam construction allows gentle conformity to slight curves and profiles without tearing like paper sheets. Available in a 3-piece pack for continued use and lower replacement frequency.

Suitable for

• Sanding wood surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
• Removing paint defects and preparing painted surfaces for repainting
• Hand sanding edges, corners and small flat panels
• Finishing after filler application on furniture or trim

How to use

Select the appropriate grit for the task and hold the sanding block with a firm, even pressure. Move the block along the grain on wood surfaces for best results and keep a steady motion to avoid creating gouges. Use the square edges to reach 90° corners and small flat areas. Clean the foam by tapping or brushing to remove dust; replace blocks when abrasive performance declines.

Recommendations

For consistent results, work progressively from coarser to finer grits and inspect the surface frequently. Wear appropriate dust protection and ventilate the workspace when sanding painted surfaces. Store the blocks in a dry place to maintain abrasive performance.
