Bosch EXPERT R782 PRISMA hiomalaikka

The Bosch EXPERT R782 PRISMA grinding disc is engineered for faster, efficient material removal on stainless steel and thin steel sheets. Its flat centre design provides stability and precise contact during use, and the Prisma ceramic fibre composition increases cutting speed while maintaining consistent finish quality. Supplied in packs of five, these discs are intended for professional users and skilled craftsmen working with angle grinders to reduce time spent on grinding welds and surface preparation.

Advantages

The Prisma ceramic fibre abrasive and specially formulated grit deliver higher grinding speed on inox compared with conventional discs, without sacrificing surface quality. The flat centre profile improves control and stability during high-speed grinding. The discs are compatible with X-LOCK angle grinders, ensuring quick fitment and secure mounting. Packs of five provide a practical balance between consumption and storage.

Suitable for

• Grinding down welds on stainless steel workpieces
• Surface preparation of stainless and thin steel sheets
• Metal fabrication and repair tasks requiring rapid material removal
• Professional use with X-LOCK angle grinders

How to use

Mount the disc on an X-LOCK compatible angle grinder following the grinder manufacturer’s safety and mounting instructions. Secure the disc and verify it is undamaged before starting. Use appropriate rotational speed for the disc and apply steady, even pressure while moving the grinder across the weld or surface to remove material. Allow the abrasive to do the cutting—avoid excessive force that can lead to uneven wear or overheating. Replace the disc when performance declines or if the disc is damaged.

Recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment (eye protection, gloves, hearing protection and respiratory protection as required). Select correct grinder speed and keep workpiece and disc cool to avoid discoloration of stainless steel. Store discs dry and handle packs to avoid bending or impact that could damage the abrasive.
