Bosch GBH 18V-28 C PROFESSIONAL SDS Plus harjaton poravasara

The Bosch GBH 18V-28 C PROFESSIONAL SDS Plus Brushless Hammer Drill is a cordless rotary hammer designed for demanding drilling and light chiselling in masonry and concrete. Equipped with a brushless motor and SDS Plus chuck, it delivers reliable impact performance with up to 3.3 J impact energy and a drilling capacity in concrete up to 28 mm. The tool combines an 18 V battery platform with high-capacity cells for extended runtime while maintaining a compact form and a service weight of approximately 3.4 kg for professional jobsite use.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed designs, while the SDS Plus system enables fast bit changes and secure seating. With its high impact energy, the drill achieves effective material removal in concrete and masonry. Cordless operation provides greater mobility on sites without easy access to mains power, and the balanced weight distribution supports longer continuous use. The tool's compact dimensions improve access in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Drilling anchor and through-holes in concrete, brick, and blockwork
• Light chiselling and demolition work where cord-free operation is required
• Installation work for electricians, plumbers and HVAC technicians in construction sites
• Trade professionals performing frequent on-site drilling tasks

Key specifications

• Chuck type: SDS Plus for rotary hammer bits
• Power source: Cordless, 18 V battery platform
• Impact energy: up to 3.3 joules
• Maximum drilling diameter in concrete: 28 mm
• Weight: approximately 3.4 kg (tool only with typical battery)
• Motor type: Brushless for increased efficiency and runtime
• Colours: Red, Blue, Black housing accents

How to use

Select an appropriate SDS Plus drill bit for the desired hole diameter and insert it into the chuck until it locks. Choose the correct mode (rotary hammer for drilling, rotary for drilling without impact where applicable, or chiselling for light demolition) using the mode selector. Secure the workpiece and mark the drilling point. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, apply steady pressure, and start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then increase speed as needed. Allow the tool to do the work; avoid excessive force which can reduce bit life. After use, remove the bit by pulling back the chuck sleeve and store the tool and batteries in a dry, ventilated area.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use batteries with sufficient capacity to match the intensity of the job; higher Ah batteries provide longer runtime for demanding tasks. Use appropriately rated drill bits and personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and dust extraction or respiratory protection when drilling concrete. Regularly inspect the chuck and bits for wear and replace worn accessories to maintain drilling accuracy and safety.
