CHERRY G84-4100 COMPACT näppäimistö kaapelilla, USB/PS2, vaaleanharmaa, (QWERTY - UK)

The CHERRY G84-4100 COMPACT is a wired mini keyboard with a USB/PS/2 interface, QWERTY UK layout and 86 keys. Its compact, lightweight design and 1.75 m cable make it suitable for environments with limited space such as banking terminals, medical equipment, portable systems and 19-inch installations. The keyboard can be supplied without Windows® keys (83-key version) and is compatible with slim-line PCs and laptops. A numeric block (G84-4700) can be added for extended numeric input.

Advantages

Each key uses Gold Crosspoint contacts (ML technology) engineered for high reliability and a precise confirmation feel. The switches are rated for continuous use with over 20 million actuations per key. The compact form factor reduces desktop footprint and the lightweight construction supports portable or space-constrained applications.

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a compatible USB or PS/2 port on the target system and allow the operating system to recognize the device. Position the keyboard on a stable surface to minimise movement during use. If a numeric block is required, attach the compatible G84-4700 numeric block according to its installation instructions. For the 83-key variant, note that the Windows® keys are omitted and standard keyboard functions remain available via the remaining keys.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, keep the keyboard in a dry, dust-reduced environment and avoid exposure to liquids. Use the compact CHERRY G84-4100 for applications where space and weight are limited; pair with the optional numeric block when extended numeric entry is frequently required.
