CHERRY XS Trackball näppäimistö yleismalli USB QWERTY US englanti harmaa

The CHERRY XS Trackball Keyboard (G84-5400LUMEU-0) combines integrated optical trackball control with a compact full-size keyboard layout. The unit offers an optical trackball with two mouse buttons for precise cursor control, 88 individual keys with Gold Crosspoint contacts (Cherry ML technology) for a defined keystroke feel and a long operating life, and a low overall build height suitable for space-restricted environments and 19" applications. A 2.5 m USB cable provides a wired connection for universal use.

Advantages

The keyboard delivers precise mouse control via the optical trackball while keeping a compact footprint. Individual keys with Gold Crosspoint contacts ensure reliable actuation and a consistent tactile response, with each key rated for over 20 million actuations. Standardised XS family dimensions allow straightforward integration into existing applications where installation measurements are required, and the lightweight construction supports use cases where reduced weight is important.

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a USB port using the supplied 2.5 m cable. Use the optical trackball and its two mouse buttons to control the pointer directly from the keyboard without an external mouse. The keyboard fits into standard XS product family mounting dimensions for quick installation into panels or enclosures; follow the device-specific mounting instructions when integrating into 19" or bespoke housings. No special drivers are required for basic USB keyboard and mouse functions on most operating systems.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, place the keyboard in a dry, dust-reduced environment and avoid exposing the trackball opening to liquids or heavy contamination. Use the standard USB connection for stable communication and consult the mounting guidelines if installing into 19" racks or compact panels.
