DECT-puhelin Panasonic KX-TGK220

The Panasonic KX-TGK220 is a DECT wireless telephone with a compact upright design and a 1.5" display. Its black and silver-inspired finish is intended to fit into home or office interiors. The handset includes caller ID, a 120-entry phonebook, speakerphone for hands-free calls, and an integrated answering system with up to 30 minutes of recording.

Advantages

The phone notifies incoming calls and messages with a blue indicator and uses a high-contrast white backlight for clear display visibility. Nuisance Call Block lets you block specific numbers or number prefixes (2 to 8 digits). Eco Mode and Eco Mode Plus reduce or cut transmission power to lower radiation and save energy. The answering system shows the number of messages on the LCD and includes noise reduction for clearer recordings. Do Not Disturb mode allows scheduling silent periods while permitting selected contacts to bypass the silence when placed in a phonebook group.

Suitable for

• Home use with family members who need caller ID and message recording
• Small offices requiring hands-free speakerphone and intercom between handsets
• Users who want to reduce unwanted calls with nuisance call blocking
• Households seeking lower radiation or energy savings using Eco modes

How to use

Place the base station on a desk and register up to five additional compatible handsets (six in total) according to the user manual. Use the menu to add contacts to the 120-entry phonebook, assign important callers to a group to allow them to ring during Do Not Disturb periods, and enable Eco Mode or Eco Mode Plus from the base or handset settings to reduce transmission power. Use the speakerphone button for hands-free calls and access the answering machine from the handset to listen to or delete recorded messages.

Recommendations

For best audio clarity, position the base station centrally in the home or office and keep the handset firmware updated if updates are provided. Use the nuisance call block to add unwanted numbers or common toll-free prefixes, and activate Eco Mode Plus when the handset is idle for extended periods to minimise transmission.
