Takakansi Latitude 5520

Restore the professional look and structural integrity of your Latitude 5520 with this genuine OEM rear cover. Unlike generic aftermarket lids that often have poor fit, weak hinge anchors, or mismatched texture, this cover is manufactured to Dell's exact specifications, ensuring a perfect snap-in alignment with the laptop's chassis and display assembly. The matte black ABS plastic matches the original finish, while the embossed Dell logo and precision cutouts for webcam and antennas maintain full functionality. Ideal for replacing a cracked, scratched, or dented lid, this part brings your business laptop back to a like-new condition without compromising wireless performance or camera clarity.

In daily use

This rear cover is the backbone of your laptop's display assembly. It protects the LCD panel from impacts and flex, while its internal channels keep the display cable and Wi-Fi/WWAN antennas neatly routed, preventing pinching or signal interference. The matte surface reduces glare and smudges, keeping your device looking professional in meetings or on the go. Since it is designed for non-touch models, it maintains the slim profile and weight balance of the original laptop. Installation is straightforward for technicians, but professional installation is recommended to avoid damaging the delicate display components.
