Dome-kamera Bosch NDE-8703-RXT 4MP FLEXIDOME 8100i X -sarja

The Bosch NDE-8703-RXT 4MP FLEXIDOME 8100i X series dome camera delivers high-resolution video capture with imaging designed for reliable continuous surveillance. Built for indoor and outdoor installation, the camera combines a compact dome housing with pan, tilt, rotate and zoom (PTRZ) functionality to cover wide areas from a single mounting point. Integrated intelligent video analytics and low-light performance make the camera suitable for environments that require detailed scene monitoring and evidence-grade recordings.

Advantages

The camera provides 4MP resolution for clear identification at moderate distances and supports advanced imaging features to maintain color fidelity and contrast in varying lighting conditions. PTRZ mechanics enable flexible framing without repositioning the mount. Built-in analytics reduce the need for separate processing hardware by generating metadata on events such as motion, loitering and object detection. Weather-resistant construction and vandal-resistant dome options support reliable outdoor operation.

Suitable for

• Retail stores and shopping centres for customer flow monitoring and loss prevention
• Office buildings and lobbies for access control and reception monitoring
• Parking areas and loading bays where wide coverage and zoom are required
• Public spaces and transit hubs for perimeter and situational awareness

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 4 megapixels
• Form factor: dome with PTRZ capability (pan, tilt, rotate, zoom)
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor installation with weather protection
• Integrated video analytics for object and motion detection
• Low-light and wide dynamic range performance for varied lighting
• Network connectivity: IP camera with standard video streaming protocols

How to use

Install the camera on a stable ceiling or wall surface following mounting instructions and ensure network connectivity to the recording or management system. Configure basic camera settings via the device web interface or the compatible video management software: set resolution to 4MP if required, adjust exposure and white balance, and position the PTRZ to frame critical areas. Enable and tune analytics rules to match the site’s operational needs, and integrate the camera into the site’s storage and alerting workflows for continuous recording and event notifications.

Recommendations

For effective coverage, plan camera placement to minimise obstructions and allow PTRZ movements free range. Use appropriate mounting height to balance field of view and identification capability. Regularly update firmware, maintain clear dome housing, and periodically review analytics settings to reduce false alarms.
