Key specifications

• Quantity: 4 pencils in one set
• Point material: graphite
• Body finish: black lacquered wooden barrel
• Hardness: multiple hardness grades included within the set
• Use: suitable for drawing, sketching and writing

How to use

Select a pencil from the set that matches the desired hardness for your task; harder grades produce finer, lighter lines while softer grades give darker, broader strokes. Sharpen with a standard pencil sharpener to a point appropriate for the intended work—longer points for detailed lines, shorter points for durability during shading. Apply varying pressure to change tone and use a clean eraser to lift graphite or refine edges. Store the pencils in a dry place and keep them capped or in a case to protect the points when not in use.

Recommendations

For balanced results in sketches and studies, combine a harder pencil for outlines and details with a softer pencil for shading and texture. Use medium-weight paper for best tonal response and avoid excessive pressure to prevent paper damage and excessive breakage of the graphite core.
