Faber-Castell STUDIO QUALITY 128336 -pehmeä kuivapastelli

Faber-Castell STUDIO QUALITY 128336 dry soft pastels deliver a silky, highly pigmented colour laydown across a range of 36 full-length sticks. Designed for blending and layering, these soft pastel crayons produce intense, vivid hues on a variety of papers and other surfaces; finished work should be fixed with a spray fixative to preserve the result.

Advantages

The soft pastels provide a smooth, soft colour deposit that yields extremely intense and vivid colours. Their texture allows precise rendering of fine details as well as efficient shading of larger areas. Colours blend and mix easily and can be gently smudged with a finger, paper wiper or pastel brush for smooth transitions. The set of 36 comes packaged in a cardboard box for storage and transport.

How to use

Apply the pastel directly to paper or another suitable surface using light to firm pressure depending on the desired intensity. Blend colours by smudging with a finger, paper wiper or pastel brush to create soft transitions or layered effects. Use different papers (for example flock paper) to achieve varied textures and effects. For detailed lines, work with the edge of the stick; for broader coverage, lay the flat side across the surface.

Recommendations

After completing your work, spray with an appropriate fixative to reduce smudging and protect the pastel layers. Store the pastels in their box in a dry place and handle gently to avoid breakage.
