Glorious Gaming KAI-SILVER lisävaruste näppäimistökytkimet

The Glorious PC Gaming Race KAI-SILVER mechanical keyboard switches by Kaihua are backlight SMD-LED compatible actuators designed to deliver fast, reliable performance for gaming and typing. Manufactured by Kaihua, these switches are compatible with Glorious modular mechanical keyboards and offer distinct engineering compared with other switch makers. The KAI-SILVER model features a silver-colored housing and is intended for users who want quicker actuation and a tactile, responsive feel.

Advantages

Kaihua switches are available in several designs—Box, Speed and Pro—each addressing different needs. Box switches include a reinforced stem that improves stability, reduces keycap wobble and provides resistance to dust and moisture. Speed switches shorten travel and actuation distance for faster input, suitable for competitive play. Pro switches combine characteristics of Box and Speed types, offering a middle ground in travel and responsiveness. All variants are compatible with backlight SMD-LED setups and are produced with consistency for long-term use.

Suitable for

• Competitive gamers seeking reduced actuation distance
• Typists who want a responsive, tactile switch
• Users building or upgrading Glorious modular mechanical keyboards
• Keyboards with SMD-LED backlighting

How to use

Install the KAI-SILVER switches into a compatible hot-swap or solder-compatible mechanical keyboard PCB following the keyboard manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the switch pins align with the PCB sockets and press evenly until fully seated. If your keyboard uses backlight SMD-LEDs, confirm LED orientation and clearance before final assembly. For soldered installations, solder with appropriate temperature and technique to avoid damaging the switch or PCB.

Recommendations

For faster actuation choose Speed-type switches; for improved stability and protection against dust and moisture choose Box-type switches; select Pro-type if you prefer a balance between travel distance and responsiveness. Regular cleaning and correct installation will help maintain switch longevity.
