Verkkokaapeli Alcasa 100m Cat7 RJ-45 valkoinen S/FTP (S-STP)

The Alcasa 100m Cat7 RJ-45 networking cable in white is a fully shielded S/FTP (S-STP) patch cable designed for structured network installations. Built to support 10GBase-T cabling technology, this 100 m cable provides a continuous run for connecting switches, patch panels and network endpoints in homes, offices and server rooms. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports while the S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference for more stable data transmission.

Advantages

Its S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually shielded pairs to provide improved protection against interference compared with unshielded cables. The Cat7 specification and support for 10GBase-T enable higher bandwidth and lower latency for demanding applications. A 100 m length allows flexible placement of network equipment without the need for intermediate patch points, and the white jacket offers a neutral appearance that blends into most interiors.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in data closets and server rooms
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m continuous run
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T, Category 7 (Cat7)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: White outer jacket

How to use

Measure the required route between networking equipment before laying the cable to avoid excess bending or tension. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports or patch panels, ensuring connectors are fully seated. For wall runs or ceilings, secure the cable using appropriate clips or cable management systems and maintain bend radius recommendations to preserve signal integrity. When connecting to shielded equipment, ensure proper grounding of the cable shielding to achieve full interference protection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the Cat7 cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep separation from sources of strong electromagnetic noise. Use shielded patch panels and grounded shielded switches where possible to leverage the S/FTP design. Test cable runs after installation with appropriate network testers to confirm continuity and performance at 10GBase-T speeds.
