Grafiittikynä Faber-Castell 9000 vihreä Wood 6 kpl

CASTELL 9000 is a classic drawing and writing pencil introduced in 1905 by Count Alexander von Faber-Castell. Favoured by artists and illustrators, the pencil offers a wide range of finely graded hardness levels for precise technical and artistic work. The graphite core is fully bonded to the wooden casing, which increases break resistance and ensures reliable performance across sketching, drawing and drafting tasks.

Advantages

The CASTELL 9000 line provides consistent tonal quality and uniform stroke behaviour across its grades. Its bonded lead construction reduces breakage during sharpening and use, and the availability of 16 degrees of hardness covers the needs of both detailed technical work and expressive artistic techniques. The pencil’s long-standing reputation reflects stable manufacturing quality and suitability for professionals and hobbyists.

Key specifications

• Brand: Faber-Castell (CASTELL 9000)
• Introduced: 1905
• Lead: fully bonded graphite core
• Hardness grades: 16 degrees (wide range from hard to soft)
• Typical uses: technical drawing, illustration, sketching, drafting

How to use

Select the appropriate hardness grade for the task: harder leads (H grades) for fine lines and technical detail, softer leads (B grades) for darker shading and expressive strokes. Sharpen the pencil carefully with a quality sharpener to maintain the bonded lead and reduce breakage. Store pencils flat or in a protective case to prevent accidental damage to the cores.

Recommendations

For precise technical drawings choose harder CASTELL 9000 grades; for gradation and shading use softer grades. Keep several hardnesses available to switch between detail and shading without changing tools.
