HENS liitäntärasia 4 mm² tyhjä DE9340 joustavilla tiivistyskalvoilla

In industrial and commercial electrical installations, cable junctions need secure, dust-tight, and splash-proof enclosures that can be opened quickly for maintenance yet seal reliably against moisture and debris. The HENS DE9340 junction box addresses this by combining a robust glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate housing with elastic sealing membranes that automatically adapt to different cable diameters, eliminating the need for separate cable glands.

Who is it for

This junction box is intended for electricians, panel builders, and maintenance technicians who require a dependable, IP65-rated enclosure for connecting and branching cables up to 4 mm². It is particularly suited for surface-mounted applications in workshops, production facilities, and outdoor areas where protection against dust and water jets is essential.

Main features

• IP65 protection class ensures complete dust tightness and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction.
• Elastic sealing membranes provide tool-free cable entry with automatic strain relief and a tight seal for cables from 6 to 13 mm diameter.
• Housing made of glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate (PC) in light grey RAL 7035, offering high impact resistance (IK07) and UV stability for outdoor use.
• Quick-release lid fasteners allow fast access without tools, reducing installation and maintenance time.
• Halogen-free material enhances safety in fire conditions by emitting no corrosive gases.
• Complies with DIN EN 60670-22 for junction boxes, ensuring reliable performance.
