QUICK-STICK sanding discs for wood and paint, silicon carbide, 100 x 62, 93mm display box — KWB 496808 sanding disc set contains five 93 mm detail sanding discs designed for sanding wood and painted surfaces. The discs have a stearate surface coating to reduce clogging, phenolic resin bonding and a strong backing with hook-and-loop fabric for secure attachment to delta/detail sanders. Supplied in a display box for convenient storage.

Advantages

The KWB 496808 discs combine aluminium oxide abrasive with a stearate coating to minimise clogging and extend usable life on paint and wood. Phenolic resin bonding ensures consistent grit retention, while the robust backing and hook-and-loop interface provide quick, reliable fitting and stable sanding performance on detail sanders.

How to use

Select the appropriate grit and attach the 93 mm disc to the delta or detail sander using the hook-and-loop backing. Operate the sander at the manufacturer-recommended speed and apply light, even pressure. Move the sander along the grain on wood and use steady overlapping passes on painted surfaces. Replace the disc when abrasive performance declines or the disc is worn.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask. For best results on painted surfaces, start with coarser grit to remove old coatings and finish with finer grit for a smooth surface. Store discs flat in the display box to protect the abrasive surface.
