Hylsysarja Hazet 900E-SR/5 — 1/2 tuuman käyttö TORX E12–E20 lyhyet hylsyt

Hazet 900E-SR/5 — 1/2" drive TORX short socket set (E12–E20) provides a compact selection of short TORX sockets for workshop and professional maintenance tasks. The set is designed to deliver accurate engagement with TORX fasteners and to allow access in confined spaces where longer sockets or bits cannot reach. Made for repeated use in automotive and machinery service, these short sockets help transfer torque effectively while minimizing cam‑out and wear on fastener heads.

Advantages

The short TORX sockets in this Hazet set offer precise fit to TORX profiles, improving torque transfer and reducing rounding of fasteners. Their shortened length increases access in tight engine bays and machine housings. Constructed for workshop durability, the sockets resist deformation under typical service loads and maintain engagement over time. The 1/2" drive interface provides compatibility with common ratchets and torque tools used in professional environments.

Suitable for

• Automotive repair and maintenance — engines, gearboxes and bodywork
• Industrial machinery servicing and assembly
• Workshops that require compact socket access in confined spaces
• Use with 1/2" drive ratchets, breakers and torque wrenches

Key specifications

• Drive size: 1/2"
• Sockets: TORX E12, E14, E16, E18, E20
• Socket style: short / reduced length
• Material and finish: hardened tool steel with workshop-grade surface treatment
• Intended use: manual and torque-controlled fastening of TORX fasteners

How to use

Select the TORX socket that matches the fastener size (E12–E20) and fit it onto a 1/2" drive ratchet, breaker bar or torque wrench. Engage the socket fully onto the TORX head to ensure correct seating before applying torque. For removal, apply steady turning force while keeping the socket aligned with the fastener axis to avoid cam‑out. When using torque-controlled tools, follow the tool and fastener manufacturer torque specifications to prevent over‑tightening.

Recommendations

Inspect sockets regularly for signs of rounding or cracking and replace any damaged pieces. Use the short sockets where clearance is limited; for deeper fasteners choose a longer socket variant. Clean and lightly lubricate 1/2" drive interfaces to prevent corrosion and ensure reliable tool engagement.
