Imeyttävä matto 3M TF 2001, vain öljylle, koko 12 cm x 15,2 m

3M TF 2001 is an oil-only absorbent mat roll sized 12 cm x 15.2 m. The mat is engineered to absorb petroleum-based liquids while repelling water, making it practical for localised spill control on drip trays, workbenches, machinery bases and small floor areas. Supplied as a continuous roll, the material can be cut to length for targeted use and disposed of after saturation to reduce cross-contamination and maintain workplace cleanliness.

Advantages

The oil-only construction selectively captures oils, hydraulic fluids and other hydrocarbon-based liquids while resisting uptake of water, which improves absorbent capacity in mixed environments. The roll format provides flexible coverage and easy customized sizing; it is lightweight and simple to handle. Using a dedicated oil-only mat reduces the volume of contaminated waste compared with general-purpose absorbents and helps minimise the risk of slip hazards and equipment damage from pooled hydrocarbons.

Suitable for

• Absorbing oil drips on workbenches and tool carts
• Placing in drip trays under engines, compressors and hydraulic units
• Small spill response in workshops, garages and service bays
• Protecting floors and surfaces from light leaks and seepage of petroleum fluids

Key specifications

• Absorbent type: oil-only, repels water
• Format: continuous roll, perforation-free for custom cutting
• Size: 12 cm width x 15.2 m length
• Typical applications: localized spill control, drip protection, work surface lining
• Disposal: single-use after saturation according to local regulations

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the roll to fit the target area. Lay the mat with the absorbent side facing up on the surface to be protected or under the leak source. For drip trays and shallow containment, position a length to catch ongoing drips; for floor or bench spills, cover the affected area until liquids are absorbed. Replace the mat when saturated and collect used material for appropriate disposal in line with local waste handling rules.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a dry, cool area away from direct heat or ignition sources. For larger or persistent spills, combine mats with larger absorbent pads, booms or containment measures. Do not use this oil-only mat to absorb aggressive chemicals or solvents unless compatibility is confirmed; consult material safety data sheets and local regulations for disposal of contaminated absorbents.
