IP-kamera Hikvision DS-2CD1027G2H-LIU 1080p ColorVu 2,8 mm

The Hikvision DS-2CD1027G2H-LIU 1080p ColorVu 2.8mm is a compact network camera engineered for continuous color imaging in low-light conditions. Featuring 1080p resolution and ColorVu technology, the camera captures color video with improved detail and clarity after dusk or in dimly lit indoor areas. The fixed 2.8mm wide-angle lens provides broad scene coverage, while the weather-resistant housing supports use in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Advantages

This IP camera delivers full-color images at night without relying solely on infrared illumination, helping with accurate scene interpretation and evidence capture. The 1080p sensor produces clear, high-resolution video for identification and monitoring tasks. Its wide-angle 2.8mm lens reduces the need for multiple cameras to cover the same area, and the robust housing is designed to withstand typical outdoor conditions. Network connectivity and standard IP camera features support integration into existing surveillance systems.

Suitable for

• Perimeter monitoring of residential and commercial properties
• Parking lots, driveways and entrance areas
• Retail and small business indoor surveillance
• Warehouse aisles and loading areas

How to use

Install the camera at the chosen location using the appropriate mounting hardware, aiming the 2.8mm lens to cover the desired scene. Connect the device to the local network via Ethernet or a compatible PoE switch for power and data transmission. Access the camera stream through the supplied or compatible network video recorder (NVR) or video management software to configure resolution, frame rate, motion detection, and recording schedules. Position the camera to maximize coverage while avoiding direct exposure to strong light sources that may affect image quality.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the camera 2.5–4.0 meters above the ground and ensure the lens is clean and unobstructed. Use PoE for simplified installation and consistent power delivery. Verify network and recording settings after installation to confirm continuous color capture under low-light conditions provided by the ColorVu technology.
