Kaapeli EK Water Blocks

EK-Cable PWM Fan Adapter for GPU is a 50 cm adapter cable that allows connecting PWM-enabled fans to a graphics card to control fan speed using the GPU's temperature-based PWM signal. The cable is produced by EK Water Blocks (MPN 3831109869734) and comes in black, providing a discrete and durable connection for custom liquid-cooling loops and GPU cooling setups.

Advantages

The adapter enables direct PWM control of case or radiator fans from the graphics card, enabling fan profiles to follow GPU temperature. Its 50 cm length offers flexibility for routing inside most PC cases. The cable's black finish helps it blend into builds and the simple design minimizes potential points of failure.

Suitable for

• Connecting PWM fans to a GPU to use GPU-based fan curves
• Custom liquid-cooling loops with GPU fan control
• PC builds where motherboard fan headers are limited or inconvenient

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: EK Water Blocks
• MPN / EAN: 3831109869734
• Function: PWM fan adapter for GPU
• Length: approximately 50 cm
• Color: black

How to use

Connect the adapter's GPU-side connector to the graphics card PWM header or designated GPU fan output, and attach the other end to a PWM-enabled fan. Ensure connectors are fully seated and routed to avoid interference with other components. After installation, configure GPU fan profiles in the graphics card control software so fan speeds respond to GPU temperature.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with compatible GPU PWM headers and PWM fans. Verify pinouts if using third-party adapters to avoid incorrect connections. Route the cable clear of moving parts and high-temperature sources to ensure long-term reliability.
