Kaapelikanava Heidemann 09940 15x15 mm ruskea

Heidemann cable channel 15x15 mm in brown is a compact plastic trunking intended for neat routing and protection of power and low-voltage cables along walls, skirting boards and furniture edges. The low-profile rectangular cross-section minimizes visual impact while providing a protected path for single or multiple conductors. Made from durable insulating plastic, this cable channel is easy to cut and mount, enabling tidy cable runs in homes, offices and small commercial spaces.

Advantages

The brown finish blends with woodwork and darker interiors to reduce visibility. Its 15 x 15 mm internal dimensions accommodate common single cables and small bundles while keeping them contained and protected from abrasion and accidental contact. The plastic construction is non-conductive, lightweight and resistant to typical indoor conditions. Simple installation and modification make it suitable for retrofitting existing installations or creating new, discreet cable routes.

How to use

Measure the required cable run and cut the cable channel to length using a fine-toothed saw or plastic cutter. Position the trunking along the wall or skirting board and mark fixing points. Depending on the mounting surface, use suitable screws or an appropriate adhesive tape to attach the base section. Place cables inside the channel, avoiding overfilling, then snap or attach the cover to secure the wires. For corners or changes in direction, cut at appropriate angles or use compatible corner pieces if available.

Recommendations

Use the cable channel for indoor applications only. Do not run high-temperature or high-current power lines together with low-voltage signal cables in the same small-profile channel to avoid overheating and interference; separate cable types when necessary. When using adhesive fixing, ensure the surface is clean, dry and suitable for the adhesive chosen.
