Kaiutinkaapeli ShiverPeaks 06-185011, 1,5 mm² johtimen poikkipinta-ala, 50 m

ShiverPeaks 06-185011 speaker cable is a 50 m roll of audio cable with a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section intended for connecting loudspeakers to amplifiers, receivers or in-wall distribution points. The cable uses a multi-strand conductor construction and a transparent insulation jacket to provide a clear, straightforward low-voltage signal path for home audio, small commercial installations and multi-room systems where a 1.5 mm² conductor is appropriate.

Advantages

The cable’s 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section balances flexibility and current-carrying capability for typical domestic loudspeakers. A multi-strand build improves handling and makes routing through conduits and behind walls simpler compared with solid-core alternatives. Transparent insulation allows visual inspection of conductor condition and polarity markings during installation. The 50 m length on a single roll reduces the need for splices on longer runs and supports tidy cable management for amplifier-to-speaker runs.

Suitable for

• Wiring bookshelf, floorstanding or in-ceiling loudspeakers in residential environments
• Small commercial audio systems such as offices, cafés or meeting rooms
• Multi-room audio distribution and retrofit speaker installations
• Speaker runs where a 1.5 mm² conductor cross-section is specified

Key specifications

• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Conductor type: multi-strand (fine strands for flexibility)
• Length: 50 m
• Insulation: transparent outer jacket for visual identification
• Intended use: low-voltage audio speaker connections

How to use

Plan the speaker run to determine the required length and avoid excessive bends. Cut the cable to length and strip the insulation carefully to expose the multi-strand conductor without nicking strands. Observe polarity markings or the conductor identification to maintain correct phase between amplifier and speaker. Terminate the cable using appropriate speaker connectors, banana plugs, spade lugs or secure screw terminals according to the equipment used. Route the cable away from mains wiring where possible and secure it with clips or conduit in wall runs to meet local installation standards.

Recommendations

For optimal audio performance, use within recommended distance limits for the speaker impedance and amplifier power, avoid running speaker cable in parallel with mains power lines to reduce interference, and ensure solid terminations to prevent signal loss. When installing in walls or public spaces, follow local building codes and, if required, use installation methods suitable for in-wall cable.
