Kassalipasliipaisin Promag DT105U USB-liitäntä kassajärjestelmiin

Promag DT105U is a cash drawer trigger with a USB interface developed for POS systems. It connects point-of-sale software and hardware to compatible cash drawers, enabling automatic opening from receipt printers, POS terminals or software commands. The DT105U is intended to provide a stable, low-latency signal path for controlled drawer operation while using a standard USB connection for easy integration with modern POS terminals and PCs.

Advantages

The device uses a USB interface for plug-and-play connectivity with POS terminals and computers, reducing dependency on legacy printer kick-out interfaces. It provides consistent trigger response for automated workflows and supports controlled cash handling procedures. Compact and unobtrusive, the DT105U fits under or near POS counters and requires minimal configuration with common POS software that supports USB-triggered drawer control.

Suitable for

• Retail checkouts where receipts or POS software must open the cash drawer automatically
• Hospitality points of sale such as cafes and restaurants with integrated POS systems
• Small and medium-sized stores upgrading from printer-triggered drawers to USB control
• POS setups requiring a dedicated, reliable trigger interface for cash management

How to use

Connect the DT105U to a POS terminal or PC using a standard USB cable, then attach the cash drawer to the trigger output following the drawer manufacturer’s wiring instructions. Once connected and configured, the drawer will open automatically on configured events such as printing a receipt or issuing an open command from the POS application.

Recommendations

Install the DT105U in a protected location near the POS terminal to avoid cable strain and exposure to liquids. Verify drawer wiring polarity and secure connections before powering the system. Test the trigger function in a controlled environment after configuration and confirm POS software settings correspond to USB-trigger operation. For multi-drawer or advanced access control setups, consult system documentation to ensure proper integration.
