Kirjekuori MAILmedia 221491 chamois DIN lang itseliimautuva ruskea 80 g/m²

MAILmedia 221491 chamois DIN long self-adhesive brown envelope is a DIN long-format envelope made from 80 g/m² paper in a neutral chamois brown tone. It features a pressure-sensitive self-adhesive flap that provides secure closure without the need for moistening, and its size is suitable for standard long documents and business correspondence. The envelope’s paper weight balances durability and flexibility for machine processing and hand handling.

Advantages

The self-adhesive closure ensures fast and reliable sealing while reducing handling time compared with gummed envelopes. The 80 g/m² paper offers a balance between sturdiness and foldability, making the envelope suitable for both mailing and archiving single or multiple documents. The chamois brown color provides a neutral, professional appearance and helps reduce show-through of typical document printing. The DIN long format fits common long documents without folding or additional processing.

Suitable for

• Sending business letters, contracts and invoices
• Mailing A4 folded into DIN long format documents
• Internal office distribution of printed documents
• Archiving correspondence and single-sheet records

Key specifications

• Format: DIN long
• Color: chamois brown
• Paper weight: 80 g/m²
• Closure type: pressure-sensitive self-adhesive flap
• Finish: plain, uncoated

How to use

Insert documents sized for DIN long format or folded A4 pages into the envelope and remove the protective strip from the self-adhesive flap. Press the flap firmly along the seam to ensure a secure seal. For batch sealing, align envelopes on a flat surface and apply even pressure across the flap. Do not moisten the adhesive; the pressure-sensitive strip is designed for immediate closure.

Recommendations

For reliable postal handling, avoid overfilling the envelope beyond the recommended capacity of 80 g/m² paper thickness. If mailing multiple sheets or bulky inserts, verify that the flap closes fully and consider reinforcing seams for international or heavy-duty shipment. Store envelopes in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance and paper quality.
