Korttipeli MATTEL HNN03 — korttipeli 3 vuotta ja vanhemmille

MATTEL HNN03 — card game for ages 3 and up is a family-friendly children’s card game designed to introduce preschoolers to turn-taking, colour and number matching, and light physical activity during play. The game follows simple, easy-to-learn rules similar to classic matching card games, and adds special Move! cards that prompt players to jump, dance, clap or bend when a card with a star icon is played. The set is intended for small groups and supports cooperative social interaction, hand-eye coordination, and early cognitive skills.

Advantages

The game combines traditional colour-and-number matching with active movement elements to engage young children and sustain attention. Rules are simplified for ages 3 and up, making setup and play quick and accessible for parents, caregivers and educators. Compact card format makes it portable for play at home, daycare or on visits, while the Move! mechanic encourages physical activity and follows a predictable pattern that helps reinforce rule-following and turn-taking.

Suitable for

• Family game nights with younger children
• Preschool and early education group activities
• Daycare or playgroup sessions to develop social skills
• Short travel or waiting-room entertainment

Key specifications

• Recommended age: 3 years and older
• Number of players: 2–4 players
• Game type: card game with active Move! cards
• Core mechanics: colour and number matching, action prompts (jump, dance, clap, bend)
• Contents: deck of illustrated game cards (colours and decorations may vary)

How to use

Shuffle the deck and deal the appropriate number of cards to each player according to the included instructions. Players take turns matching card colour or number to the top card on the discard pile. When a player plays a card marked with a star icon, the corresponding Move! instruction (jump, dance, clap or bend) is performed by the group or specified player. Continue play until a player discards all their cards or meets the win condition stated in the rule sheet. Supervision is recommended for younger children during active moves to ensure safety and fair play.

Recommendations

Use the game in short sessions for preschoolers, combine play with verbal reinforcement of colours and numbers, and adapt movement prompts to the children’s space and abilities. For group settings, establish simple safety rules before starting (clear space, gentle movements) and rotate starting players to encourage equal participation.
