Kotitaloustuuletin Blaupunkt ASF501

The Blaupunkt ASF501 is a floor-standing household fan designed to provide targeted airflow in rooms where an air conditioning system is not available. The unit combines a black and white aesthetic with a 40 cm blade diameter and an efficient copper motor to generate strong air circulation while operating from standard AC mains (220–240 V) with a power consumption of 55 W. With adjustable tilt, height and an oscillation function, the fan can be configured to distribute air evenly across a room.

Advantages

The fan offers three selectable speed settings for flexible airflow control and a push-button interface for simple operation. Oscillation and adjustable tilt/height let you direct airflow where it is needed. A robust metal front grille and rear plastic guard provide user safety and are easy to dismantle for cleaning. The motor and blade design reduce noise at lower speeds, producing under 40 dB in the lowest setting, making the unit suitable for nighttime use. Lightweight construction and floor placement make it easy to move and position.

How to use

Place the Blaupunkt ASF501 on a stable, level floor surface clear of obstacles and at a suitable distance from walls or furniture to allow unobstructed airflow. Connect to a 220–240 V AC socket and select the desired speed by pressing the corresponding push button: 1 for low, 2 for medium, 3 for high. Use the oscillation lock button to enable or disable left-right rotation. Adjust the head tilt and telescopic height to direct the airflow. Turn the fan off and disconnect from the mains before cleaning or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

For safe and effective operation, keep the intake and outlet grilles free from dust and obstructions; clean the grills periodically after switching off and unplugging the unit. Do not operate the fan in wet or excessively humid conditions. Position the fan to promote cross-ventilation with open windows or doors for improved room air renewal and energy-efficient cooling.
