Kotitaloustuuletin Blaupunkt ASF701

The Blaupunkt ASF701 household floor fan combines a classic two-tone finish with practical features for cooling larger rooms. Designed for floor placement, it runs on AC power with 55 W consumption and works with 220–240 V mains. The fan has a 40 cm diameter blade set driven by a copper motor, adjustable tilt and height, and oscillation to distribute airflow evenly across the space. A clear display shows room temperature and timer settings, and the unit includes a remote control and timer-operated auto-off for convenient operation.

Advantages

The ASF701 provides three speed levels and three operating modes (standard, natural and night) so airflow can be matched to activity and time of day. Its powerful copper motor and large blade diameter deliver strong air movement while the oscillation function spreads circulation throughout the room. Noise is reduced by blade design; at the lowest speed the sound level is below 40 dB, making the fan suitable for nighttime use. Safety features include a plastic rear grille and a rigid metal front grille that is easy to remove for cleaning. The unit’s remote control, timer and readable display improve convenience and control.

How to use

Place the fan on a stable, level floor surface clear of obstructions and set the height and tilt to direct airflow where needed. Connect to a compatible 220–240 V AC socket and use the display or remote control to select one of three speeds and the preferred operating mode: standard for continuous airflow, natural for alternating intensity that simulates a breeze, or night mode which gradually reduces intensity every 30 minutes. Activate oscillation to distribute air across the room and set the timer if you want automatic shutoff after a chosen interval. Clean the removable front grille periodically following the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the unit is unplugged before maintenance.

Recommendations

For effective cooling and quiet operation, use natural mode during daytime for a variable breeze and night mode when sleeping to reduce noise progressively. Position the fan to promote cross-ventilation by aiming it toward an open window or door when outdoor temperatures are lower than indoor temperatures. Regularly remove dust from the front grille and blades to maintain airflow efficiency and check the stability of the base before each use.
