Kuitu-liitin LC/LC naaras/naaras ShiverPeaks BS07-60040

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60040 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead adapter designed to join two LC-terminated fibre cables through a panel or enclosure. It provides a compact, standardized connection interface for single-mode or multimode LC plugs, enabling secure optical mating across network segments while maintaining alignment and low insertion loss.

Advantages

This LC/LC female-to-female bulkhead adapter offers reliable mechanical alignment and consistent optical performance in rack or wall-mount installations. Its compact footprint conserves panel space and supports easy cable routing. Constructed for repeated mating cycles, the adapter delivers stable insertion loss and return loss characteristics, contributing to dependable signal transmission in fibre optic networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting two LC-terminated fibre optic patch cords through a bulkhead or panel
• Patch panels, distribution frames and fibre enclosures
• Data centre and telecommunications cabling runs
• Laboratory testing setups and equipment interconnects

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female bulkhead adapter
• Form factor: Duplex/Single (compatible with LC duplex assemblies)
• Application: Panel/bulkhead mounting for optical patching
• Compatibility: Standard LC ferrule terminations for single-mode and multimode fibres
• Material and finish: Durable housing with alignment sleeve for ferrule mating
• Performance: Designed for low insertion loss and high return loss stability over repeated matings

How to use

Mount the adapter into the panel cut-out or enclosure designated for bulkhead connectors, ensuring it is secured according to the panel hardware. Insert LC-terminated patch cords into each side of the adapter until they click into place, verifying the duplex orientation if applicable. For removal, depress the LC plug latch and withdraw the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or alignment sleeve. Observe standard fibre handling precautions: keep endfaces clean, use dust caps when unused, and avoid bending the fibre beyond its recommended radius.

Recommendations

Clean fibre endfaces before making connections using approved cleaning tools and inspect endfaces with a microscope when performance issues are suspected. Use cable management to prevent strain or sharp bends near the connector and replace the adapter if mechanical wear affects insertion loss or alignment.
