Kulmamitta / timpurinkulma Helios Preisser 100 x 50 cm malli 0375428

Helios Preisser Angle Finder / Carpenter's Square model 0375428 is a metal layout and checking square with overall dimensions of 100 x 50 cm. Designed for marking, checking right angles and providing a straight reference edge, this carpenter's square is suitable for use on wood, metal and common construction materials. The robust metal construction provides stability for cutting guidance and assembly alignment in workshop, carpentry and metalworking environments.

Advantages

The metal body offers a straight, durable edge that resists warping and maintains accuracy during repeated use. Large dimensions give extended reach for marking long boards and panels while the precise 90° angle facilitates fast verification of squareness on frames, workpieces and sheet materials. The tool is lightweight enough for manual handling yet rigid enough to serve as a reliable guide for saws and marking tools.

How to use

Place the shorter leg of the square against the reference edge of the workpiece and press the body firmly to ensure contact along the full length of the measuring face. Use a pencil or scribe along the long leg to transfer a precise 90° layout line. To check squareness, align one leg with an existing edge and inspect the contact along the opposite leg; any gaps indicate misalignment. For cutting guidance, hold the square steady and run a saw or router against the straight edge, keeping consistent pressure to maintain a straight cut.

Recommendations

Keep the metal surfaces clean and free of debris to preserve accuracy; store the square flat or hung on a stable hook to avoid accidental bending. Inspect the right-angle edge periodically against a calibrated square or known straight reference to confirm ongoing precision before critical tasks.
