KVM-kytkin ATEN CL1308N rack-asennus musta

The ATEN CL1308N Rack mounting Black KVM switch integrates a 19" LED-backlit LCD display, full keyboard and touchpad into a 1U rack-mountable housing to provide console access to multiple servers from a single station. The unit supports control of up to 8 computers directly and can be cascaded with additional switches to expand control to a larger server set. It accepts both USB and PS/2 keyboard and mouse connections, offers a maximum display resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, and is built with a combination of metal and plastic for reliability in server-room environments. The CL1308N is designed for fast setup with plug-and-play connections and straightforward switching via front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys or an on-screen display.

Advantages

The CL1308N provides consolidated console management that reduces rack space and simplifies server maintenance by combining monitor, keyboard and mouse into a single sliding 1U module. Its mixed USB and PS/2 support ensures compatibility with a wide range of servers and legacy systems. The integrated LCD reduces the need for separate monitor hardware, and the durable metal/plastic chassis suits continuous operation in a data center. Multiple switching methods — front-panel buttons, hotkey commands and a multilingual OSD — offer flexible control options for different workflows.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and equipment racks with limited space
• IT administrators who need single-console control of up to 8 servers

Recommendations

Place the CL1308N in a ventilated rack position and ensure cable management prevents strain on connectors. Verify each server’s keyboard and mouse interface and use matching cables to avoid connectivity issues. For multi-switch cascades, follow the manufacturer cascade topology and limit recommendations to ensure reliable OSD and hotkey operation.
