KVM-kytkin HPE AF618A musta

The HPE AF618A (HP IP Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media and CAC support) is a rack-mountable KVM switch that enables secure remote and local management of multiple servers from a single keyboard, video and mouse console. It supports virtual media mapping of removable drives or ISO images for remote software installation and upgrades, and includes Common Access Card (CAC) support for two-factor authentication. The switch is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems and is designed for heterogeneous data center environments where centralized access and security are required.

Advantages

The HPE AF618A provides both local and remote access with the same On-Board Web Interface (OBWI) experience, simplifying configuration and maintenance. Virtual Media functionality allows administrators to map ISO images or removable drives to a connected server for installations and upgrades without physical access. Built-in CAC (smart card) support enables two-factor authentication to strengthen data center security. The unit supports up to 16 connected computers, offers wired connectivity, and is supplied in a 1U rack form factor with a compact footprint.

Suitable for

• Data center server management
• Remote software installation and OS upgrades
• Environments requiring two-factor authentication (CAC/Smart Card)
• Mixed OS environments (Windows and Linux)
