Kyynärsuojat POC Joint VPD Air, koko M, musta, viskoelastinen polymeeri (VPD)

POC Joint VPD Air Elbow guard is a lightweight elbow protector designed for cyclists who need ventilation, flexibility and freedom of movement. The guard uses a visco-elastic polymer dough (VPD) to absorb impacts and is constructed with stretch fabric for a close low-profile fit.

Advantages

The elbow guard combines a lightweight, impact-absorbing VPD compound with reinforced stretch fabric to maintain protection without restricting movement. A Crash Retention Strap (CRS) and neoprene anti-slip on the inside help keep the guard securely in place during active riding. Its low-profile design reduces bulk while preserving coverage.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This light-duty elbow guard is intended for impact cushioning and abrasion protection in typical cycling falls, but it is not designed for heavy-contact sports or situations requiring hard-shell level impact protection. Riders seeking maximum padding or full-contact crash protection should consider more robust, purpose-built options.

Key specifications

How to use

Slide the elbow guard over the arm so the VPD pad covers the elbow joint. Fasten or adjust the Crash Retention Strap (CRS) to achieve a comfortable, secure fit and ensure the neoprene surface faces the skin to minimise slippage. Check fit before riding and reposition as needed after extended movement to maintain coverage and comfort.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use the POC Joint VPD Air Elbow guard for rides where breathability and freedom of movement take priority. Regularly inspect the VPD pad and fabric for wear, and replace the guard if the materials show significant degradation after impacts.
