Doro Hemma 380902 is a wireless doorbell system that combines a battery-powered transmitter (push button) with a plug-in wireless chime unit designed for home environments. The receiver plugs into a mains outlet and communicates with the transmitter without the need for wiring, allowing straightforward placement and relocation. The system is intended to provide audible visitor alerts and a tidy, design-conscious appearance suited to apartments and single-family homes.

Advantages

The Doro Hemma system offers a tool-free installation process and flexible placement of the receiver thanks to its plug-in design. The battery-powered transmitter enables outdoor or indoor mounting without electrical connection, while the wireless link reduces the need for structural changes. The chime unit is compact and visually discreet, providing clear audible notifications intended to be heard within typical living spaces.

Suitable for

• Apartments and flats where no wiring is available or desired
• Single-family homes for convenient relocation of the chime unit
• Rental properties where non-invasive installation is required
• Entrances, back doors or internal doors that need visitor notification

Key specifications

• System type: wireless doorbell with separate transmitter and plug-in receiver

How to use

Install the battery in the transmitter and mount it near the entry point using the included fixing method or adhesive. Plug the chime unit into a conveniently located mains outlet within the home and test the communication by pressing the transmitter button. Adjust placement of the receiver to find an optimal position for audibility; multiple outlets can be used sequentially if needed. Replace transmitter batteries according to the manufacturer’s guidance and ensure the receiver is connected to mains power for continuous operation.

Recommendations

Place the receiver in a central indoor location to maximize audibility across living areas, and avoid metal enclosures or very thick walls between the transmitter and receiver to maintain reliable wireless range. Use weather-appropriate mounting and a covered location for the transmitter if it is installed outdoors.
