Leikkuulauta Zassenhaus 050929 neliömäinen puu 390x390 mm

The Zassenhaus 050929 cutting board is a square wooden work board measuring 390 x 390 mm with a thickness of 45 mm. Made from natural wood, it provides a stable, durable surface for everyday food preparation and offers gentle handling of knives thanks to its crafted finish.

Advantages

Solid, reversible construction with a stop edge ensures stable cutting and the option to use both faces to extend service life. The board’s high hardness and careful processing provide extreme endurance while remaining kind to knife edges. Its natural wood surface delivers a classic look and practical durability for regular kitchen use.

Suitable for

• Chopping and slicing vegetables, fruits and bread
• Preparing meat and fish (use separate sides or sanitize between uses)
• Everyday home cooking and meal prep

When it may not be suitable

This wooden board is not intended for use as a serving platter for very wet or greasy foods without prior protection; prolonged direct contact with excessive moisture can affect the wood over time. It may not be the best choice for users who require frequent machine washing — hand washing and drying are recommended to maintain the board’s condition.

How to use

Place the board on a dry, level surface before use; the stop edge helps prevent slipping during cutting tasks. • Natural wood grain means slight variations in colour and finish

Recommendations

For long service life and knife care, wash by hand, dry thoroughly and occasionally rub with food-grade mineral oil. Use separate sides or boards for raw meat and ready-to-eat foods to maintain hygiene.
