Lenovo ThinkStation VROC Key Module Inteliltä - NVMe RAID 0/1 aktivointi ThinkStation P-sarjalle

Unlock the full potential of NVMe storage in your Lenovo ThinkStation P-series workstation with the ThinkStation VROC Key Module by Intel. While many workstations ship with NVMe slots, only a few can harness them in RAID without additional hardware. This small internal module activates Intel Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC), enabling RAID 0 and RAID 1 directly through the CPU—no separate RAID controller card required. It's the clean, cost-effective way to boost performance or protect data on supported ThinkStation models.

Highlights

• Enables Intel VROC technology for NVMe SSDs
• Supports RAID 0 (performance) and RAID 1 (mirroring)
• Proprietary motherboard header for seamless integration
• Compatible with select ThinkStation P-series workstations
• Low-profile internal module—no extra power or cabling
• Managed via Intel RSTe / VROC GUI

In daily use

Install the VROC Key Module once, and your ThinkStation gains the ability to configure NVMe drives into fast, resilient arrays. For creative professionals, engineers, or data analysts, RAID 0 can dramatically accelerate large file transfers and application load times. For those who cannot afford downtime, RAID 1 provides real-time mirroring without taxing the CPU. The module draws power directly from the motherboard, so there are no additional cables or power bricks. It's a set-and-forget upgrade that stays out of sight.
