Letkuliitin OPTIMUS Optimus Flex liitäntä 16/10 mm, alumiini, hopea

Optimus Flex Anschluss hose connector for 16/10 mm hoses is an aluminium coupling designed by OPTIMUS to join or adapt flexible fuel and water lines. Finished in silver, the connector is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, intended for use with hoses measuring 16/10 mm (inner/outer dimensions). It is suitable for outdoor equipment, portable stoves, pumps and routine hose repair or replacement where a reliable, compact metal fitting is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers a low weight and good resistance to corrosion compared with some non-metal fittings, while the compact design minimises space requirements in tight installations. The connector provides a metal-to-hose interface that withstands repeated assembly and disassembly better than many plastic alternatives. Its silver finish ensures straightforward visual matching with metal components and reduces visible wear over time.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing flexible fuel lines on portable stoves and camping appliances
• Connecting or adapting water hoses for pumps and outdoor equipment
• Small-scale workshop or field repairs where lightweight, corrosion-resistant fittings are needed
• Applications requiring a compact metal connector for 16/10 mm hose dimensions

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium
• Finish: silver
• Compatible hose dimensions: 16/10 mm (inner/outer diameter)
• Intended use: joining or adapting flexible fuel and water hoses
• Design: compact, for minimal space installations

How to use

Ensure the hose ends are cut squarely and free from debris before assembly. Push each hose end fully onto the respective fitting section of the connector until it seats securely; depending on the hose type, use appropriate hose clamps or crimp fittings to secure the connection and prevent leaks. Inspect the joined area for correct alignment and test under low pressure first to confirm a tight seal. For repeated disassembly, handle the aluminium surface with care to avoid scoring the hose bore.

Recommendations

Use compatible hose clamps sized for 16/10 mm hoses and select clamp types suitable for the fluid being transported. Avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals or gases that may react with aluminium. Periodically inspect the connection for signs of wear, corrosion or loosening, and replace the connector if mechanical damage is observed.
