Lindy 1m USB Type-C – HDMI 8K60 -sovitinkaapeli

The Lindy USB Type C to HDMI Adapter Cable (1 m) converts a USB-C port with DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode into an HDMI output, enabling connection to HDMI displays without a separate converter box. The 1 metre cable provides flexible positioning of the HDMI display and supports up to 8K (7680x4320) at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with DSC, plus HDR and HDCP 2.2 for protected Ultra HD content. The cable is bus-powered and offers plug-and-play installation for straightforward integration into AV setups.

Advantages

This Lindy adapter cable supports high-resolution output up to 8K60 and high refresh 4K144 when the source supports DP 1.4 with DSC v1.2a. HDR compatibility delivers improved brightness, contrast and colour reproduction, and HDCP 2.2 ensures compliant playback of protected content. The 1 m length gives greater installation flexibility than a rigid converter box, and bus-powered plug-and-play operation requires no external power or driver installation. The cable is compact and finished in black to match common AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C laptops or tablets to HDMI TVs and monitors
• 8K video playback and streaming when paired with compatible source and display
• High-resolution video editing or colour grading workflows

How to use

Ensure the source device’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode and, for 4K144 or 8K60 operation, that the device supports DP1.4 with DSC v1.2a. Connect the USB Type-C end to the source device and the HDMI Type A end to the HDMI display. Configure the display’s HDMI input settings (for 8K use HDMI 2.1 input settings if required) and set the resolution and refresh rate in the source device’s display settings. No driver installation or external power is necessary.

Recommendations

To achieve 8K60 or 4K144 performance, verify that both the source device and the HDMI display support the required standards (DP 1.4 with DSC on the source, HDMI 2.1 input settings on the display). Use high-quality HDMI-capable displays and ensure cables and device firmware are up to date for best results.
