Maalaa numeroilla -sarja Ravensburger CreArt Pixie Cold Cat (malli 25855) – kankaalle maalaussarja

Ravensburger 25855 is a casting and painting kit supplied in a box and recommended for ages 12 and up. The set provides materials for molding or casting small figures or decorative elements and for painting them afterward, enabling hands-on craft work that develops fine motor skills and creative decoration. The kit is suitable for home use, school art classes and hobby projects where guided model creation and finishing are required.

Advantages

The kit brings together casting materials and a selection of paints and brushes so users can complete both forming and finishing steps with a single set. Components and tools are sized and selected for older children and beginners, supporting practice of hand coordination and brush control. The combined process of casting then painting allows learning of sequential craft techniques — preparing a mold, casting a piece, cleaning and sanding if needed, and applying paint in controlled layers.

Suitable for

• Hands-on craft lessons at home or in art classes for adolescents
• Beginners learning basic molding, finishing and painting techniques
• Hobbyists creating small decorative figures, ornaments or gift items
• Classroom projects that combine manual skills and color finishing

Key specifications

• Complete kit containing casting material, paints and brushes for finishing
• Materials intended for manual molding/casting and subsequent painting
• Water-based paints suitable for hobby use and indoor conditions
• Brushes sized for detailed finishing and small surface coverage
• Packaged in a box for storage and transport

How to use

Prepare a clean, protected workspace and follow the included instructions for mixing and pouring the casting material into molds or shaping components. Allow cast parts to cure fully before removing from molds and perform any recommended trimming or light sanding to refine edges. Apply water-based paints with the provided brushes in thin, even layers, letting each layer dry before adding the next to avoid smudging. Clean brushes with water between colors and store unused materials in a dry place after use.

Recommendations

Work on a covered surface and wear suitable clothing or an apron to limit stains. Keep a cup of water and paper towels nearby for rinsing brushes and blotting. For best results, follow curing times for casting material precisely and apply paint in multiple thin coats rather than a single heavy layer. Supervise use by younger adolescents and store casting and paint materials out of reach when not in use.
