Pelit 52563 lautapeli/korttipeli lautapeli hienomotoriikka (tarkkuuspeli)

TUMBLIN' MONKEYS by MATTEL is a dexterity-based family board game for ages 5 and up. Players build a web of coloured plastic sticks across a translucent palm tree and place small plastic monkeys inside. On each turn a player rolls a colour die and carefully removes one stick of the indicated colour without letting monkeys fall. The goal is to avoid dropping monkeys during your turn; dropped monkeys are collected and the player with the fewest monkeys at the end wins. The game is easy to learn and suitable for mixed-age play, promoting fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination.

Advantages

The game uses simple rules and quick setup so children and adults can start playing immediately. Translucent tree design lets players see monkey positions and increases engagement during play. The combination of a colour die, multiple coloured sticks and small monkeys creates varied gameplay that tests steady hands and planning. No reading is required, making the game accessible to younger players while remaining entertaining for older participants.

Suitable for

• Family game nights with children aged 5 and older
• Fine motor skill practice and coordination exercises
• Playdates and small group gatherings (2–4 players)
• Quick party rounds or travel play thanks to compact components

Key specifications

• Recommended age: 5 years and up
• Number of players: 2–4
• Included components: translucent plastic palm tree, 30 small plastic monkeys, 30 coloured plastic sticks, colour die
• Material: molded plastic components
• Play type: dexterity and turn-based gameplay

How to use

Assemble the palm tree and create a web of coloured sticks across its trunk. Place all monkeys inside the tree so they hang on the sticks. The youngest player rolls the colour die and removes one stick of the rolled colour, taking care not to dislodge monkeys. If a player causes one or more monkeys to fall, those monkeys are added to that player’s pile. If the die shows a colour with no remaining sticks, that player skips their turn. Continue taking turns until all sticks have been removed or a predetermined end condition is reached; the winner is the player with the fewest monkeys collected.

Recommendations

Use on a stable, level surface to reduce accidental falls. Supervise younger children during play to ensure small parts are handled safely. Store pieces in a small container or the original box to keep the 30 monkeys and 30 sticks together and avoid loss of components.
